waiting for travel approval

As we wait for our travel approval to leave for China, we were able to send a small care package to Jia at her orphanage Jiaxing City.  One of the things we sent was a super soft, not to babyish blanket.  Since Molly is the oldest and will be sharing a room with Jia, we agreed she could be the first to sleep with the blanket so Jia could get used to the smells of her room.  The kids also had a good time laying the blanket on the floor and rolling around on it to mark their scents like a couple of animals, and they wrapped the dog Frank up in it too.
We sent a photo album with pictures of our house and family members.  We had captions translated to go along with the pictures (big sister, little brother, paternal grandmother etc.)  Our hope is that Jia is able to get familiar with her new home and family before we make the transition with her.
